This certification training (for up to 15 participants, scheduled as five consecutive days or a 3/2-day split) helps leaders strengthen facilitation and communication skills while building lasting professional connections. Learn how to:

Work from a comprehensive Facilitative Leadership Handbook and Workbook filled with customized NSRF tools designed to address the daily challenges of school leadership. While this training shares some foundations with our CFG Coaches’ Training, it introduces many additional structures and strategies created exclusively for those in administration positions of higher leadership and direction. Because leadership happens both in groups and one-on-one, this course also introduces a suite of NSRF protocols for individual reflection and coaching. Each participant is paired with a Critical Friend—a trusted colleague for continued reflection, accountability, and growth long after the training ends.

CFG Work for Administrators Training

NSRF’s CFG Work for Administrators Training adapts our renowned CFG Coaches’ Training for professional administration who seek to familiarize themselves with CFG work and how to best support their staff. Through hands-on experience, discover how CFG work builds trust, strengthens professional culture, and sustains continuous improvement. Administrator-only CFG communities can provide a trusted space to explore leadership dilemmas, share best practices, and turn every meeting into purposeful action and real progress. Learn to lead the kind of reflective, collaborative practice that drives meaningful growth across schools, districts, and organizations.

In this training, learn to: 

  • Recognize and value others’ perspectives, experiences, and strengths
  • Refine and improve projects and articles that aren’t reaching their full potential
  • Examine data with fresh eyes to identify actionable next steps
  • Brainstorm efficiently to generate broad, creative solutions from multiple perspectives

Choose your training path!

The Coach Certification Training for Administrators covers 33-34 hours (ideally, 5 full days on-site or 8 half-days virtually) of experiential cohort learning for up to 15 participants. It includes facilitation practice and culminates in an official CFG Coaches’ Certification and renewable Coach Membership. Participants learn to form an authentic CFG community, bringing real work to examine and leaving ready to create and lead their team.

The Overview Training for Administrators is a condensed, non-certification version for administrators who want a strong foundation in CFG principles and protocols. Up to 15 participants can come together on-site or virtually to experience practical strategies and gain proven tools to improve meetings, communication, and other administrative processes. This training lasts 16-18 hours (3 full days on-site, 5 half-days virtually). When this overview training comes to an end, we can work with you to extend your practice hours, so you can take the next step and earn Coach Certification!

If your team isn’t ready to establish regular CFG meetings, consider our Facilitative Leadership Training, which focuses on practical facilitation strategies and enhancing individual leadership skills.
