The five-day training is offered in two segments so you can avoid being away from your desk for five consecutive days. The first three days are October 19th-21st and the participants will determine when they will return for the last two days, likely within the next month. Please join us in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana, home of Indiana University. Those who fully complete this training will be certified as NSRF® Critical Friends Group Coaches.
NSRF trainings are tailored to the needs of the participant mix. For example, teachers will gain skills to improve student learning, create equity in the classroom, and increase efficient, effective communication. Administrator participants will learn new facilitation skills, strategic planning, observation techniques, and methods of attaining school-wide collaboration. All participants will enhance their professional performance through the use of protocols and reflective practice.
Attending this Open Training is $850 and includes a copy of the new CFG Coaches’ Handbook, one 12-pack of Collaborative Cue Cards, and a full year’s membership in the NSRF with coaches’ access to ALL protocols on our website. If you bring one or more colleagues with you to training, each of you will receive a $50 discount, so the price becomes $800 each. To pay for multiple registrations and receive the discount, please call our office at 812-330-2702.
Open Training options are best if you would like to train single participants or small groups. If you have a large number of people to be trained as coaches, contact us about a possibleOn-site Trainingto suit your schedule.
Our seminar days begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:00 pm. On the third and fifth days of training, we end at 2:30 pm to allow participants time to travel home. Because we begin each morning at 8:30 sharp, if you’re flying, you will want to fly into the Indianapolis Airport the night before. Please make sure you make travel arrangements for Bloomington, Indiana not one of the country’s other Bloomingtons! We’re about a 50-minute drive south of Indianapolis. You can rent a car at the airport or take the airport shuttle* to a location near the training site.
The GoExpress shuttle can take you from the Indianapolis International Airport directly to this venue!
Please do not book non-refundable travel until we confirm that this training as described will occur. We encourage you to invite your friends and colleagues to help us fill the cohort. When we confirm this training (six weeks prior, at the latest), we will give you a link to book your hotel room at a discounted rate.
NSRF works hard to keep the costs of five-day trainings low, and only accepts up to 15 participants per cohort, which makes it an especially high-value training opportunity. Because of the limited number of seats and the low margin, full refunds are only available with cancellations at least eight weeks before the event. If you must cancel between six and eight weeks, you may receive a 50% refund. Later than six weeks, we cannot offer a refund. We encourage anyone whose plans have changed to transfer their paid application to another attendee, if possible. If you must cancel your attendance and/or transfer your registration fee to another person, please give us a call for further instructions. By submitting your registration you are agreeing to these terms.
