Working remotely should not mean feeling remote.
Learn how to lead CFG work virtually!

CFG Coaches, please apply to attend
Bridge-to-Virtual Training
and bring new NSRF Virtual materials
to your meetings and classrooms.

Virtual Open CFG Coaches Training

A 12-hour training conducted within Zoom,
culminating in Virtual CFG® Coaches’ Certification!

_______

Bridge-to-Virtual Training will result in:

♦ Access to all our new Virtual CFG Activities and Protocols
♦  Experiencing key materials as a participant, a facilitator, and a tech host
♦  Certification as a Virtual CFG Coach

Reminder: This Bridge Training is only open to people who’ve already been certified as CFG Coaches, having completed a full five-day CFG Coaches’ training with us. A later Bridge-to-Traditional training will connect people trained as Virtual CFG Coaches with the capacity to work our materials in the room with others.

  • This pilot training in July will provide special attention to tech hosting these materials, as well as facilitating NSRF Virtual protocols and activities.
  • Applicants will let us know their experience levels with CFG work, Zoom, and Google products so we may balance cohorts with similar tech and CFG experience. In other words, we wouldn’t want to drop one person who’s never used Zoom into a group of power-Zoom users, or vice versa.

Expect to collaborate and participate!

From the comfort of your own home, please join us via Zoom for this 12-hour virtual training split into four half-days.

Like your previous CFG Coaches’ Training, this is an experiential event!  It’s not a “webinar” so expect to be on-camera and on-task, and the results will be worth it!

Completing 12 hours of training and a couple hours of homework in-between sessions will earn you certification as a Virtual CFG Coach, empowered to create and coach Critical Friends Group communities, as well as lead our protocols and activities outside that structure. It also sets you up beautifully to partner with a colleague coach to support one another with the technology details, making the resulting meetings much more efficient and effective.

Experience and learn new and familiar protocols!

This fast-track version of our Virtual CFG Coaches’ Training is designed for you, a coach familiar with our materials from both the participants’ and the facilitators’ sides of the equation. You’ll experience (and learn to lead and “tech host”) all the key activities and protocols. Many of these are variations on materials you know and love, and others are new, designed specifically for Zoom.

Time well spent!

If you are selected to attend our pilot Bridge Training in July, your fee will be $360. Some scholarships are available (see application). We will not collect fees until we’ve curated the cohort for this pilot training in July. Applicants who are not selected will be notified of other day/time options as soon as we put them onto the schedule.

Bonus for inviting a friend!

If you have a friend or colleague to join you for this training and they are also selected, each of you will receive a $50 discount (limit one discount per organization, and participation limited only to certified CFG Coaches). We have learned that having another person in your working environment who has completed the same training will help both of you in moving this work forward — You can support each other in meetings, taking turn being the lead coach, which also helps you bring your own work to the group.

CFG Coaches who complete the full training will be dual-certified as Virtual Critical Friends Group® Coaches, receiving a PDF certificate citing the number of hours spent in the training.

Refund Policy

NSRF works hard to keep the costs of our trainings low and only accepts a limited number of participants per cohort, which makes it an especially high-value training opportunity. Because of the limited number of seats and the low margin, full refunds are only available with cancellations at least two weeks before this event. If you find you cannot attend, please try to find a colleague who can take your seat and contact us with the information so we can correct the Zoom link for that person.  By submitting your application you are agreeing to these terms.

Questions?

If you have any questions about CFG trainings in general, please email us at nsrf@nsrfharmony.org. If you have any questions about about this Bridge Training, email Luci McKean, Director of NSRF Virtual Learning at luci@nsrfharmony.org.  We are here to help!

After this training is filled, we’ll schedule another Bridge Training,
and applicants who aren’t selected for this upcoming training will have first notification of future training opportunities.
NSRF continues to offer multiple NEW COACHES’ trainings shaped for virtual settings.
